Hey! My name is Mariah. Photography has been a passion of mine since I was a kid. I have been doing portrait, wedding, and real-estate photography for seven years now.

A little about me, I am a multiple-catastrophic injury survivor. I was crushed by a tree in 2019. After fighting my way back to walking again, I am back behind my camera and ready to capture all of life's precious moments. Life is unpredictable and fleeting, and photographs are one thing you can hold onto and cherish for a lifetime.
I am also a volunteer firefighter and studying to become a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist. I am currently working with Green Mountain Holistic Healing on a voluntary basis. I love to travel, learn about Chinese medicine, spend time working out at the gym, eat good food, and I am a lover of animals and nature. I look forward to working with you!
My Story
My life was altered signficantly after being crushed by a tree but I refuse to let it take my dreams from me. One of my injuries was a traumatic brain injury. It has completely changed how I am. With that being said, I struggle to be around a large crowd and a lot of noise. I have started to pivot my goal as a photographer to smaller more intimate groups. Summer of 2024 I had my first "adventure elopement" and this was my happy place. I worked with the couple to locate the perfect spot for their elopement, which was tucked over a mountain side surrounded by nothing but nature and beauty. I then took the couple to the mountain top for sunset pictures. It was heaven! I felt at ease and it was manageable for me given my limitations (that I honestly have a hard time acknowledging I have). I hope to align with more adventurous couples looking for a unique elopement experience submerged in the outdoors.

I also really enjoy photographing real-estate, sports, families, and landscapes. Prior to my injuries, I was a preschool teacher and I miss working with the kiddos dearly. One of my favorite photoshoots is when I get to photograph children. I love capturing the genuine and playful nature of kids.

I have also recently started making greeting cards. They are for sale at Green Mountain Holistic Healing in Morrisville, VT as well as a variety of my matted and framed work.
